Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment)

Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment Design) is responsible for the design, calculation and documentation of equipment that has no moving parts but is critical to the safety and efficiency of oil, gas and industrial facilities.

Main tasks:

• Design and calculation of static equipment according to standards (ASME, API, EN, GOST).
• Selection of materials taking into account temperature, pressure, corrosion.
• Preparation of technical documentation (datasheets, specifications, drawings).
• Coordination with process and construction engineers.
• Interaction with suppliers (vendors) and manufacturing control.
• Support at the installation and commissioning stage.

Key skills:

• CAD: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor.
• Specialized software: PV Elite, Caesar II, HTRI.
• Knowledge of international standards (ASME VIII, API 650/660, TEMA).
• Mechanical calculations for strength and stability.
• Engineering design skills (P&ID, GA drawings).
• Knowledge in: Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Storage tanks, Columns & Reactors, Piping supports & auxiliary structures.
• Technical education - Mechanical engineer
• Relevant work experience - not less than 5 years.
• Spoken and written English and Russian language skills required, Kazakh language skills highly desirable.
