ELA/History Teacher - mixed age group

Mulberry Academy is seeking a dynamic ELA/History Teacher for our innovative Canopy Elementary School program. Join our unique mixed-age learning community that combines personalized academics with project-based learning in a play-based environment.

Position Details

• Program: Canopy Elementary School (mixed age elementary group)
• Subjects: English Language Arts & History
• Language: Fluent English required
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Structure: Morning academics (tutoring-style) + Afternoon PBL + Specialized classes
• Location: Nazarbayev University Campus, Astana

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in English, Literature, History, or related field
• Fluent English with excellent communication and storytelling abilities
• Elementary teaching experience (Grades 1-5)
• Playful, engaging personality that brings subjects to life
• Understanding of individualized instruction and differentiated learning
• Knowledge of project-based learning methodologies
• Patience and creativity in working with diverse learners

• Morning Academic Sessions (Tutoring-Style)
• Afternoon Project-Based Learning
• Specialized Programming (participate in arts-integrated curriculum, support festival celebrations, collaborate with other specialists)

• Negotiable salary commensurate with experience.
