Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE.
• Conduct daily inspections and functional tests to ensure equipment readiness.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using approved tools and manuals
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Line Maintenance, production planning and stores for task scheduling
• Support equipment commissioning, calibration, and overhaul activities
• Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 6, EASA Part-145, and local airport safety regulations
• Participate in training and mentoring junior technicians and operators
• Respond to unscheduled breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize operational disruption
• Follow MOE L2.1 CONTROL OF GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND CALIBRATION TOOLS
• Follow MOE 2.5.6 MAINTENANCE OF GSE/ TOOLING AND CALIBRATION TOOL

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical diploma or vocational certification in automotive, mechanical or electrical systems,
• Minimum 1 year of experience in GSE maintenance or heavy equipment servicing
• Proficiency in reading schematics, manuals, and diagnostic software
• Valid driver’s license; airside driving permit preferred
