Responsibilities and Accountabilities of Clearing and Settlement Analyst:

  • Reports of the Head of Clearing & Settlement Department
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reports;
  • AML reports to the Regulatory & Compliance Dept;
  • Create, update and maintain all static data (related to market participants, traded instruments, trading calendar and schedules) across the various post-trade AIX systems;
  • Provide first level post-trade operations support, assistance and information to market participants and business partners in the fields of clearing and cash and securities settlement;
  • Monitor system start-up and end-of-day reporting;
  • Monitor clearing and settlement processes for both cash and securities to ensure clearing and settlement finality;
  • Daily reconciliation of securities and cash with Settlement banks, Custodians and iCSDs;
  • Monthly Fee calculation/checking/controlling payments;
  • Reports upon to the requests of clients;
  • Other responses to clients.

Software users:

  • Work with clients on access to the depository system;
  • Assistance to clients in case of lack of access.

Power of Attorney and Signature Cards

  • Assistance to clients in filling and providing Power of Attorney and Signature Cards;
  • Placement of Power of Attorney and Signature Cards on a special resource;
  • Communication with the Regulatory & Compliance Dept in case of need for clarification.

Education, Certification, License Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Finance or related discipline;
  • High proficiency in English - both written and spoken;
  • Knowledge of AML.

Work experience:

  • Preferably background in Financial Services of at least 1 year;
  • Preferably experience in back office positions – custodian and/or brokers company.

  • Team player with high resistance to stressful situations and open to flexible working hours arrangements.
