Kindergarten teacher

Mulberry Academy, a progressive kindergarten and learning community located on the campus of Nazarbayev University in Astana, is looking for a nurturing and imaginative lead teacher to guide a kindergarten group of children aged 3–4 years.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate, project-based learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills.
• Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
• Observe and assess students’ developmental progress, documenting learning through portfolios and regular communication with families.
• Foster social-emotional growth by modeling empathy, self-regulation, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the evolving vision of our progressive learning community.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with young children.
• Passion for creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster exploration and independence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and respectful approach to working with families and colleagues.
• Fluency in English required.
