We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Economics & Financial Analysis to join Almaty International Airport. In this role, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, while providing key insights to senior management. You will also oversee cost control initiatives and manage a team of analysts & cost controllers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

  • Coordinate the budgeting process across departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Implement and oversee cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and cost controllers, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Commercial, and Accounting

  • Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and scenario planning.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or ACCA certification is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, preferably in the aviation, transportation, or infrastructure sectors. Experience in a leadership role is essential.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent command of English language (Upper Intermediate and above).
