Commercial Construction Estimator (Trade Contractor – Drywall, Framing, Windows)

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented REMOTE Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience estimating for a contractor, strong knowledge of construction methods, and the ability to work independently. This is not a trainee position — we need someone who understands how construction projects work and can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial projects (small to large scale)

• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work

• Perform material take-offs and quantity surveys

• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing

• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates are practical and achievable

• Track bid results and maintain organized records of estimates

• Contribute to value engineering efforts and cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications:

✔ Proven experience as an Estimator for a contractor, preferably in drywall, framing, window installation, or general commercial interiors
✔ Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and terminology
✔ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
✔ Excellent written and spoken English
✔ Strong math skills and attention to detail
✔ Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Excel (experience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar is a plus)
✔ Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
✔ Self-starter who works independently and takes ownership of tasks
✔ Availability during EST working hours (some flexibility possible)
