Sound Designer / Sound Engineer

Overview:
We are looking for a talented and detail-obsessed Sound Engineer / Sound Designer to join our growing production team. You’ll be responsible for mixing, mastering, and sound designing animated educational content for young children (under 5), including songs, sound effects, and dialogue editing. This role requires precision, creativity, and a strong sense of audio storytelling for short-form and long-form digital content.

You will work closely with composers, animators, voice actors, and production leads to ensure all audio assets meet the highest standard of clarity, emotion, and polish—always matching the timing, tone, and pedagogical goals of each video.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and master vocal stems, music tracks, and FX for YouTube and app content

• Sound design for animated videos (adding SFX, spatial depth, environment)

• Sync all audio with animation timing, including transitions and movement

• Handle voice cleanup: de-noising, EQ, de-essing, leveling

• Create or source custom SFX for toddler-friendly sounds (no stock overuse)

• Collaborate with creative director and animation leads on musical timing

• Deliver exports in correct formats for final mastering and uploads

• Manage versioning, feedback loops, and consistent naming structures
