Cloud Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Access Management

• Serve as the focal point for provisioning and revoking access to Azure components during new deployments or change requests.
• Manage access permissions using Microsoft Entra, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM), ensuring proper group-based and role-based access control.

2. Cloud Governance

• Understand and apply Azure Policies to enforce organizational standards and compliance.
• Assign and regularly update tags to Azure resource groups to maintain consistency and traceability.
• Ensure default configurations and naming conventions for cloud components are respected and consistently implemented.

3. Cost Management & Billing

• Set up and manage monthly Azure budgets and cost alerts at both subscription and resource group levels.
• Coordinate actions and resolve any forecasted or actual overspending incidents.

4. Cost Optimization

• Continuously monitor workloads to identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Analyze Azure Advisor cost recommendations and collaborate with technical owners, development, and support teams to implement optimizations.

5. Security Compliance

• Understand and improve the Microsoft Defender for Cloud Secure Score of Azure subscriptions.
• Monitor and respond to security recommendations and alerts, ensuring proactive risk mitigation.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience managing and administering Microsoft Azure environments.
• Proficiency in using the Azure Portal, Microsoft Entra, Azure CLI.
• Certified or working towards Microsoft certifications AZ-104/204/305/400.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher), equivalent to IELTS 7.0+ or TOEFL iBT 95+.
