Business Data Analyst

Role

• For Lead Business Analyst – lead Stream Reporting in delivery projects
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and gather the requirements (both technical and business-oriented)
• Define and document analytical data model changes that should be done to fulfil business requirements
• Define and document data quality checks
• Collaborate with data engineers to define data structures, relationships, and entities that align with business requirements
• Define and document Business Intelligence and reporting requirements that can be transformed by into insightful dashboards
• Work with the testing team to ensure that developed functionalities meet business requirements
• Analyze the existing and new data sources to understand the quality, completeness, and relevance of the data
• Consult customer BI team and business users on NC data models: NC Solution Data Model, NC Analytical data model
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring clear communication and understanding between the two groups

Skill & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or Data Science.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, data modelling, data integration and data visualization.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholders management.
• Strong knowledge and skills in data modelling tools and languages, such as ERD, SQL
• Experience in design preparation for data integration tools and techniques, such as ETL, ELT, APIs, and data pipelines, and in integrating data from various sources, platforms, and systems
• Familiar with data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as DAMA, DMBOK, and ISO
• Experience in working with various data platforms and systems, such as relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, cloud services, and big data technologies
