Senior Geomatic Manager

Lead and coordinate complex GIS projects and programs to align with organizational goals

Manage geospatial databases and perform data analysis using ArcGIS

Oversee spatial data collection methods, including surveying, remote sensing, and GPS

Develop and implement data strategies and GIS data governance standards

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and integrate GIS solutions

Provide technical guidance on geomatics software and technologies

Stay current with industry advancements and integrate new GIS methodologies

Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum 8 years of experience managing GIS or IT-based projects

Expertise in ArcGIS for mapping, analysis, and data management

Strong knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, File Geodatabases)

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and ArcPy is highly desirable

Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms and web mapping applications

Excellent project management and leadership skills

Proficient in English
