Assistant marketing officer

• To establish and maintain networking with the travel trade, media and other industry players with the objective of promoting travel and enhancing positive publicity on Malaysia;
• To plan, implement and co-ordinate Malaysia’s tourism promotional activities including sales mission, media engagement, food and cultural promotion, travel exhibitions, seminar, fam trip etc;
• To monitor current market trend and development in local market;
• To work and assist with the implementation of the organizational policies, strategies and campaign;
• To prepare monthly reports and other reports as and when requested by headquarters

REQUIREMENTS:

• The candidate should have a Degree in related field. However, MBA candidate will have an added advantage
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in related industry preferably in tourism;
• Wide exposure through activities such as exhibition, seminar, advertising and media
• Excellent command of both spoken and written Kazakh, Russia and English language. Able to speak in Mandarin is a plus.
• Proficient in computer applications particularly Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop design is a MUST;
• Pleasant, hardworking, responsible, self-motivated and possess good interpersonal skills;
• Mobile and able to work independently with minimum supervision;
• Good networking contact with government departments and travel trade fraternity;
• Willing to travel domestic and overseas.
