Mechanical Engineer

BACKGROUND

Established in 1935, the airport initially operated under the Kazakh Civil Aviation Department until 1990; subsequently, on April 26, 1991, it underwent a reorganization, being officially renamed "Alma-Ata Airport." The pivotal transformation occurred in 1994 when it evolved into OJSC "Almaty Airport," a transition that culminated in its current legal successor, JSC "Almaty International Airport."

Requirements:

• Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, transportation, or automotive construction.
• At least 2 years of experience in vehicle and special equipment repair.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for repairing various types of transportation.
• Experience in timekeeping and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards in the field of equipment repair and maintenance.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in English, at least at B2 level.
• Experience with accounting and reporting software (e.g., 1C, Excel).

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and overseeing the repair process for vehicles and special equipment.
• Conducting diagnostics and developing solutions to address malfunctions.
• Preparing and maintaining reports on repairs and maintenance.
• Managing timekeeping and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Coordinating work with other departments to ensure effective repair and maintenance.
• Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards during the repair process.
• Interacting with suppliers of spare parts and materials.
