Piping Designer

Responsibilities and Roles:

Duties:

• Advanced design and construction knowledge

• Advanced knowledge about design/drafting principles and practices with extensive and comprehensive knowledge in area(s) of specialization

• Perform FEED 3D modeling in PDMS, including building of equipment, preliminary structures, and layout modeling of lines for submittal to Piping Engineering for stress review. Complete Detail Design modeling of lines for extraction of isometrics for IFC

• Produce plot plans and equipment arrangement plans

• Identify tie-ins in the field, and assist in development of tie-in list and packages for approval

• Interact with internal and external personnel on piping and inter-discipline issues

Competency requirements:

• Must have sound knowledge and understanding of technical terms and conditions.

• Familiar with all phases of EPC Contracts.

• Awareness of compliance and audit processes.

• Ability to identify changes and improvements to the technical documentation and procedures to reflect Client’s changing requirements.

• Knowledge of computer based systems including, CAD, Database Management systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.

• Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision.

• Systematic thinker and good organizational skills/ time management.

• Strong personality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority.

• Team player within and across functions.

• Sensitive to Client’s requirements and Client focused.

Minimum Requirements to employee:

Education: Bachelor degree in engineering is minimum requirement. Master degree preferred

Language skills: English and Russian are mandatory. Kazakh is advantageous

Professional experience: Min 3 years
