Responsibilities:
1. Organization and Control of Occupational Health and Safety Activities
-
Organize and oversee activities related to occupational health and safety (OHS).
-
Monitor and participate in OHS-related meetings and briefings.
-
Implement advanced training materials and methods promoting safe work practices.
-
Organize emergency drills in fire, industrial, and occupational safety.
-
Lead the Occupational Health and Safety Department.
-
Coordinate the work of the company’s medical units.
-
2. Workplaces, Processes, and Improvements
-
Study working conditions and develop proposals for their improvement.
-
Summarize and analyze employee initiatives aimed at enhancing work conditions and safety.
-
Participate in professional risk assessments.
-
Provide methodological support to departments on OHS matters.
-
Handle employee complaints and suggestions regarding working conditions.
-
Organize certification, declaration, and attestation of workplaces.
-
Implement management systems: ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
-
3. Control and Supervision
-
Conduct inspections of occupational health and fire safety conditions.
-
Monitor compliance with legal and corporate safety requirements.
-
Supervise workplace safety, including that of contractors.
-
Oversee briefings, equipment testing, and harmful factor measurements.
-
Participate in the acceptance of new facilities and equipment.
-
4. Documentation and Reporting
-
Develop and provide methodological support for instructions, policies, and procedures related to OHS.
-
Organize employee training and safety briefings.
-
Manage the ordering, storage, and distribution of regulatory documents and visual materials.
-
Prepare reports, manage orders, and monitor implementation of safety measures.
-
5. Medical and Sanitary Oversight
-
Monitor sanitary and household services provided to employees.
-
Supervise medical examinations and the condition/use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
-
Coordinate annual medical check-ups.
-
6. Contractors and External Interaction
-
Participate in contract negotiations concerning safety and environmental requirements.
-
Ensure contract compliance with OHS standards.
-
Take part in the selection of PPE suppliers and pilot testing of new equipment.
-
Communicate with contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities.
-
7. Violation and Incident Management
-
Take measures to halt operations when safety threats arise.
-
Suspend employees who violate safety regulations.
-
Issue and monitor enforcement of corrective actions.
-
Record incidents, analyze accidents, and promote safety awareness.
-
Organize and participate in the investigation of accidents and emergencies.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
-
Higher or postgraduate education in a relevant field.
-
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role in occupational health and safety.

Key Skills:

Strategic thinking and ability to analyze legislative and technological changes.
-
Development of strategies and policies in occupational health and safety (OHS).
-
Planning improvement measures and risk management initiatives.
-
Justifying resource needs and overseeing preventive project implementation.
-
Integrating OHS objectives into core business processes (finance, procurement, HR, etc.).
-
Evaluating the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of OHS initiatives.
-
Knowledge:
-
Legislation on occupational, fire, and industrial safety, as well as hygiene and sanitation.
-
International standards and modern approaches to OHS management systems.
-
Basic knowledge of strategic management and business processes.
-
Fundamentals of financial planning and budgeting for OHS activities.
