ALDAR EUROASIA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LLP, a subsidiary of ALDAR Properties PJSC- a leading real estate development organization based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi - is seeking a Technical Manager for the Abu Dhabi Plaza (ADP) complex, a major mixed-use development located in Astana, Kazakhstan. The successful candidate will act on behalf of the Client to supervise and manage the fit-out works across several blocks of the ADP multifunctional complex, transforming shell-and-core spaces into fully fitted Class A office premises.
The role involves managing third-party contractors and leading an in-house team of architects and engineers through all phases of construction. Responsibilities include overseeing design reviews, providing technical comments, and ensuring that all design components comply with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage an in-house multidisciplinary team comprising architects, structural and MEP service engineers.
•Foster effective collaboration across design and engineering disciplines to ensure alignment on project objectives and quality standards.
•Technically supervise construction activities performed by third-party contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards.
•Monitor the progress and quality of works on-site, identifying and resolving any technical issues promptly.
•Review and comment on detailed design packages submitted by contractors to ensure coordination, constructability, and compliance with project goals.
•Participate in design workshops, coordination meetings, and technical reviews to guide the design intent through execution.
•Support the preparation and issuance of fit-out tender packages for various project scopes.
•Evaluate technical submissions and provide recommendations during the tender evaluation process.
•Act as the primary interface between the Client, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders on all technical matters.
•Attend and head regular site / progress meetings and report on technical progress, risks, and issues requiring escalation.
•Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, approvals, and site observations in accordance with project protocols.
•Monitor site conditions and contractor activities to ensure adherence to HSE requirements.
•Track progress against the construction schedule and report deviations with proposed mitigation measures.
•Identify project risks related to design, construction, or coordination and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
•Technical Supervision certificates – Technological equipment, Bearing and enclosing structures and Engineering networks.
