About the Role:

YEO Energy is undertaking the full high-voltage electrical infrastructure installation for a natural gas combined cycle power plant currently under construction in Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan. We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of this international energy project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate and coordinate with the system operator KEGOC
• Liaise with the local energy distribution company KREK
• Establish and maintain communication with other relevant local authorities
• Coordinate with material and equipment suppliers
• Monitor subcontractors and oversee site activities
• Ensure legal compliance in collaboration with the project team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles
• Proficiency in official correspondence in Russian and Kazakh
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Experience with high-voltage systems and KEGOC
• Familiarity with the Kazakhstan GRID CODE and national electrical regulations
• Previous experience in international projects is a strong advantage
