Business Development Specialist

Our Intercity team s in search of an experienced Business Development Specialist!

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve business metrics.
• Launch and support initiatives aimed at activating new users and increasing engagement among existing users.
• Drive product development.
• Generate and validate product, marketing, and operational hypotheses within cross-functional teams to fuel business growth.
• Contribute to strategic planning.
• Analyze the market and competitors, and help shape the development strategy for the Intercity vertical in the CIS region.

Requirements

• Have 1 to 3 years of experience in the mobility and/or tech industry.
• Experience in analytics with excellent skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python is not required but would be a plus.
• Enjoy working with numbers and apply a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Know how to organize effective collaboration with a team across multiple time zones and understand how cross-functional teams operate.
• Able and willing to conduct customer development, generate hypotheses, and validate MVPs.
• Practical experience is crucial — we value hands-on, fieldwork.
• English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher; native-level fluency in Kazakh and Russian.
