F&B Manager

The position requires relocation to Shchuchinsk, Akmola region. Housing is provided for relocating candidates.

LOCATION: Rixos Borovoe Hotel is a luxury Resort property of Accor family and is surrounded by the pine trees of the Borovoe National Park and located on Shchuchye Lake (Shchuchinsk, Kazakhstan).

POSITION PURPOSE: First-hand support to Director of F&B and supervises daily F&B operations and monitors compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures. Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CONTRIBUTION:

• Operational management, coordination and control of all hotel outlets
• Employee training and monitoring work procedures, standards, and sanitary rules implementation
• Preparation and analysis of restaurant marketing plans
• Analysis and optimization of operational procedures
• Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program (LQA)
• Conducts regular meetings with F&B Team and discusses the opportunity areas and make an action plan to fix shortages
• Develops the up-selling plan, including a dish of the day and drinks of the day
• Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
• Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
• Monitors and maintains the productivity level of employees
• Verifies that all team members/supervisors understand the brand-specific philosophy
• Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed
• Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction
• Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.

REQUIRED and WHAT MAKES YOU EXTRAORDINARY FOR THIS ROLE:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (premium and luxury hotels & resorts experience preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage Operations
• Proficiency in Russian and English, Kazakh language will be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, a team player & builder with an eye for detail, and commitment to doing everything you can to get it right first time for our guests and colleagues
• Positive mind, highly organized, result oriented with the ability to be flexible with hours, days off, assignments and additional duties
• Systematic approach to building all business processes in the Food & Beverage department
• Ability to teach service and hospitality
