Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review the design of high-voltage electrical systems and professional electrical engineering drawings for the new energy power station project of the Kazakhstan regional company, including the selection of equipment and materials specified in the plans and drawings.

• Manage project materials, equipment delivery schedules and statistics; approve and coordinate construction-related issues and respond to emergencies during the electrical engineering phase.

• Coordinate and resolve technical issues throughout the project; supervise the supervision company and construction teams to ensure that project progress, quality, and safety meet all relevant requirements. Conduct special inspections and acceptance procedures for key project components together with supervision engineers.

• Participate in professional inspections and acceptance procedures; assist in the handover process for the operational phase of the power plant. The candidate must have a technical background, be capable of independently configuring and adjusting electrical systems, and possess hands-on experience in equipment installation and commissioning.

• Liaise with KEGOC, including preparing and submitting official correspondence, coordinating equipment approvals, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulations.

• Oversee the acceptance and verification of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and managing the necessary approvals.

Requirements:

1. Experience in the construction of 110 kV substations is required, specifically from the perspective of an energy producer.

2. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Automation or related fields (full-time education).

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical construction, capable of independently managing installation, commissioning, and acceptance processes; at least 1 year of experience in project management.

4. Proven experience in wind power, photovoltaic power stations, or substation construction and management is mandatory.

5. Proficiency in English, Kazakh, and Russian. Knowledge of Chinese is an asset.

6. Willingness to work at a construction site.
