HSE Specialist

Position Overview:

As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and programs. This role is vital to ensure the well-being of employees, as well as compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies for all company operations.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external safety regulations.

- Oversee and monitor safety training programs and implement new training as needed.

- Collaborate with regional sales teams to assess and mitigate safety risks, especially related to vehicle operations.

- Ensure the organization meets all legal and regulatory requirements concerning occupational health, safety, and environmental protection.

- Promote a culture of safety within the company and encourage employees to proactively identify and address potential safety hazards.

- Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring proper reporting and corrective actions.

- Advise management on potential risks and suggest improvements to work processes to increase safety and reduce environmental impact.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably within FMCG, tobacco, or a similar industry.

- Solid understanding of local and international HSE regulations.

- Strong communication and training skills.

- Experience in risk assessment and the development of safety programs.

- Knowledge of vehicle safety regulations is an advantage.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

- Fluent in Kazakh, Russian.

- English level is Upper-intermediate.
