Solution Architect - Storage (Presales Engineer)

International company ASBIS, distributor of a wide range of IT and Telecom products of world famous brands, announces a vacancy for Presales Engineer for Data Storage Systems.

Responsibilities:

- Designing and selecting the optimal solution in terms of price/functionality ratio, configuring storage systems manufactured by Pure Storage, Seagate Storage and others, as well as data backup systems;

- Providing advice on products and solutions, identifying customer needs, creating technical and commercial proposals, competitive comparisons;

- Conducting presentations and advocating solutions to the customer;

- Conducting regular training sessions on products and solutions;

- Organization and conduct of demo stands on real equipment;

- Installing/integrating equipment and software from different manufacturers;

- Leading the construction of complex technical solutions, which may include servers, storage systems and network equipment, virtualization and cloud solutions, backup systems;

- Service support for the installed base of storage vendors such as Pure Storge and Seagate Storage.

Basic requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company, distributor or system integrator;

- Deep understanding of modern IT technologies (servers, storage, virtualization, backup, cloud, operating systems, databases, networking, and security).

- Knowledge of the product line and practical experience with servers and storage systems of at least one brands (Dell EMC, HPE, Cisco, IBM, Huawei, NetApp, etc.)

- English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher;

- Experience in writing technical and commercial proposals, competitive comparisons, etc. is desirable;

- Experience in public speaking, presentations and training sessions is desirable.
