Responsibilities:
- Providing legal support of the company's activities in the areas of the company’s business, including but not limited to:
- Import and distribution of luxury items, including perfumes and cosmetics withing the markets of Central Asia, North Caucasus and Mongolia
- Lease of real estate and its commercial use
- Retail trade of goods and services
- marketing, advertising and promotion activities in connection purchase and resale of luxury items
- any activity which directly or indirectly supports the company’s interests and the aforesaid purposes;
- Reviewing and adapting corporate compliance policies and procedures, including but not limited to the code of conduct, privacy, anti-corruption, conflict of interests, trade sanctions and similar. Developing local rules and policies where required by applicable law. Assuring implementation and compliance therewith;
- Monitoring of changes in legislation, assessment of their impact on the business and preparation of proposals for adaptation;
- Contractual work, ensuring contractual discipline, participation in negotiations;
- Maintaining corporate documentation, documents management, handling registration procedures and other formalities;
- Claim works and litigations;
- Interacting and supporting regional, and global offices on compliance issues, brand protection, anti-counterfeiting and anti-diversion
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in an international company (retail, FMCG spheres are preferable)
- Higher legal education, preferably Civil Law specialization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Russian and English
- Knowledge and legal expertise in:
- civil, administrative, procedural, corporate, commercial, contract laws
- consumers rights
- competition laws
- processing of personal data
- claim work
- paperwork and document control
- Comfortable working in a complex and rapidly changing environment with multitasking and ambiguity
- High level of self-management, focus on the result
- Excellent communicator ensuring a close relationship with the teams
- Agility, commercial curiosity and a high level of business acumen
- Solution oriented
