Custom Сlearance Supervisor

Our Client an international company is looking for Custom Clearance Supervisor, Almaty.

Job Duties:

• Monitoring the customs clearance of fixture entries and exits to our stores or warehouses, ensuring relevant departments are informed after obtaining the necessary permits.
• Overseeing the customs clearance process for consumables entering our stores and notifying relevant departments upon approval.
• Managing customs clearance procedures for any discrepancies in warehouse declarations submitted by our Customs Consultancy company during the entry of goods into our stores or warehouses. If the goods are imported, ensuring the entire process is completed with necessary corrections by submitting a consulate-certified letter to the customs office.
• Calculating taxes for missing goods and following up on the process if supporting documents explaining the deficiency in declarations cannot be provided.
• Supervising customs clearance for goods under temporary import or ATA carnet for operational activities, ensuring compliance and facilitating the finalization of the process.
• Tracking penalty decisions imposed by customs on behalf of the company, monitoring their status in the customs system, and ensuring necessary actions are taken if they remain unresolved. Providing customs support until the process is fully completed.

Requirements:

• Education Level: Bachelor Degree, Master
• Foreign Language: English (intermediate level)
• Computer Knowledge: MS Office Applications (good degree)
• Knowledge of customs processes and procedures
