Responsibilities:
- Manages the company’s accounting in accordance with regulatory acts and the accounting policy of the group of companies.
- Assists in conducting tax and other audits by government authorities.
- Verifies contracts for compliance with regulatory acts and tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Controls accounts and transactions across all areas of accounting.
- Organizes training and development for the accounting staff (in coordination with management).
- Ensures timely submission of material reports by responsible officers.
- Ensures timely closing of the cost of finished products.
- Analyzes the trial balance for accurate and complete reflection of accounting data.
- Analyzes the cost of goods sold at the end of the reporting period to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting data.
- Ensures the accuracy of accounting records.
- Ensures timely and high-quality closing of the reporting period.
- Prepares data for relevant areas of accounting to prepare financial and tax reports and ensures the safekeeping of accounting documents.
- Organizes the processes of automation and localization of accounting and reporting.
- Plans the department’s activities and monitors the implementation of plans and goals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar).
- Fluent in English
