The company is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the Financial Manager in managing the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, along with fluency in Turkish and English. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle multiple tasks, ensure accuracy in financial records, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Ensure compliance with local (Kazakhstan) and international financial regulations.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
  3. Accounts Management:
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
    • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
    • Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries.
  4. Tax and Compliance:
    • Prepare and submit tax returns in compliance with Kazakhstani tax laws.
    • Ensure timely payment of taxes and other statutory obligations.
    • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
  5. Communication and Coordination:
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
    • Communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Collaborate with the Financial Manager on strategic financial planning.
  6. Language-Specific Duties:
    • Communicatation with foreign clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Translation of financial documents.

Requirements:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role, preferably in banking system.
    • Experience working in a multinational environment is preferred.
  3. Language Skills:
    • Fluency in Kazakh and Russian (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
    • Knowledge of English or Turkish is a strong advantage.
  4. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., 1C, SAP, or similar).
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
    • Familiarity with financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
  5. Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Other Requirements:
    • Knowledge of Kazakhstani tax laws and financial regulations.
    • Willingness to stay updated on changes in financial legislation and best practices.
