The company is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the Financial Manager in managing the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, along with fluency in Turkish and English. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle multiple tasks, ensure accuracy in financial records, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with local (Kazakhstan) and international financial regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Accounts Management:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries.
- Tax and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit tax returns in compliance with Kazakhstani tax laws.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes and other statutory obligations.
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with the Financial Manager on strategic financial planning.
- Language-Specific Duties:
- Communicatation with foreign clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Translation of financial documents.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role, preferably in banking system.
- Experience working in a multinational environment is preferred.
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in Kazakh and Russian (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of English or Turkish is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., 1C, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of Kazakhstani tax laws and financial regulations.
- Willingness to stay updated on changes in financial legislation and best practices.
