Senior Consultant - Financial Advisory Services Department - Almaty office

Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Services Department provides strategic and financial services to clients through every phase of the economic cycle, as well as offerings in all the critical areas, including from corporate finance, M&A transactions, business valuations, debt restructuring services, finance raising and others, with a focus on helping clients add value to their business. We help companies with buy side and sell side due diligence, and also to create, execute and realize value from their transactions.

The role will involve:

• Participating in due diligence projects related to business acquisitions or sales;
• Analyzing financial statements, financial and non-financial business information in detail; as well as analyzing key business drivers;
• Identifying financial risks, possible deal breakers and potential adjustments to net working capital, net debt and EBITDA;
• Developing analytical tables and drafting financial due diligence reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or mathematics;
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance or audit (preferably in Big Four or other global advisory firms);
• Professional accounting certification, such as ACCA (preferable), CFA or CIMA;
• Excellent written and verbal communication both in Russian and English;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Advanced analytical skills;
• An excellent eye for detail;
• The ability to deliver high quality output under stringent timelines.
