Finance controller

Resposibilities

• Ensure timely preparation of financial reporting in accordance with Company Accounting Standards and statutory requirements.
• Oversee month-end closing tasks with finance operations partners, Company Business Services, and finance Global Process Owners (GPOs).
• Collaborate on close activities, providing local business insight and supporting evidence on account movements.
• Review and approve key reconciliations and bridge between Company Reporting (IFRS) and statutory reporting.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliation aligns with Company policy.
• Manage timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of results and forecasts in the Company consolidation system (CPM Beacon) with business controllers.
• Prefer working knowledge of SAP and CPM Beacon (SAP BPC) or similar applications.
• Possess knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and other relevant local tax and legal legislation.
• Organize and run periodic financial performance and balance sheet reviews with stakeholders.
• Ensure statutory and tax reporting compliance with local and global timelines.
• Manage audit processes, ensuring compliance with group and statutory audit schedules.
• Continuously follow local legislation and communicate potential impacts on business and financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Review and summarize monthly financial results and balance sheet in collaboration with business controllers to ensure accurate financial and management reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in finance; CIMA Level Certification advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in financial analyses, planning, and business plan implementation.
• Strong focus on business partnering and advising the leadership team.
• Experience in matrix organizations.
• Excellent understanding of various CRM tools, including SAP.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, organized self-starter with a high level of customer service.
• Strong English communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and explaining complex data clearly.
• Attention to detail for precise work, spotting errors, and ensuring accurate results.
