Senior Research Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager (Senior Research Analyst) to join our team at the Astana International Financial Centre Authority (AIFCA). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets and research methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the Kazakhstan and global financial services industry, general economy, and produce comprehensive report
• Identify emerging trends and provide valuable insightsMonitor and analyze national and regional industrial strategies, policies, and initiatives
• Prepare high-quality project-specific reports, proposals, and presentations
• Communicate complex analytical findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain confidentiality, safety, and compliance in all documentation and work
• Adhere to AIFC internal policies and regulations
• Collaborate with AIFC bodies and organizations
• Engage with government authorities and prepare proposals for national and regional development programs
• Maintain and build relationships with external organizations, including international financial institutions, think tanks, and private companies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Business, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, management consulting, data research, data/industry analytics, or similar fields.
• Language Proficiency: Kazakh, Russian, English (fluent).
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of statistical packages (e.g., STATA) is preferred.
