PR & Media Manager

International beauty company.

Responsibilities:

TEAM

• Building collaborative and supportive relationships with 6 luxury beauty brands separated on different competitive teams;
• Building a strong relationships with HQ department teams based in 3 different Eurozone countries & 6 luxury beauty brands;
• Supporting relationships with CIS Republics teams (Caucasus and Central Asia);
• Managing 2 direct reports in local PR & Media team;
• Building collaborative and long term relationships with contracted Media and PR agency, it’s teams and management.
• Building productive relationships with 4 retailers Marketing and SMM departments.

Media

• Developing strong media strategy (TV, OOH, Digital, Print, Radio, etc.) for brands according to the local needs and global marketing plan and launches;
• Proving all the media proposals from local teams to HQ;
• Preparing and controlling media plan and budget for each brand;
• Preparation of the advertising modules and adaptation;
• Controlling and co-managing the all media campaigns with the agency;
• Documents control;
• Control of annual placement reports from the agency;
• Updating the Media reports on presence of the brands and monitoring of the competitors’ activities on the market;
• Monitoring of all the competitors’ activities in all the media channels;
• Strict adherence to guidelines;
• Supporting media agency requests.

PR

• Developing strong PR strategy for brands according to the local needs and global marketing plan and launches;
• Search of the opinion leaders (influencers, bloggers) and active cooperation with them, their content’s analysis, development of the joint advertising/storytelling campaigns on the regular basis;
• Organizing bloggers seedings;
• Full PR event organization leadership from tender to post-project HQ report
• Full photo and video shootings leadership from tender to post-project HQ report
• Collaboration with local fashion and beauty stars withing special projects
• Regular and timely provision of necessary information on new products through the distribution of press releases;
• Proofreading and correction of PR materials;
• Regular and timely provision of pre-series of new products and control over the placement and quality of information about new products;
• Conducting a PR report on the placement of brands and monitoring the activities of competitors;
• Calculation of costs and effectiveness of PR projects;
• Communication with the agencies and partners: writing briefs, adapting and developing the necessary materials;
• Media and PR crisis management.

SMM

• Management of the communication plan for the social networks of the retailers, development of the materials and control of the partners’ activities in social media.

OFFICE TEAM

• Active support in organizing office team buildings, parties and retailers conferences.

Requirements:

• Marketing degree preferable.
• 3+ years of successful experience on Marketing/Digital dept within International company;
• 2+ years of Media agency with international brands experience preferable;
• Deep understanding both of ATL and BTL;
• Strong media planning & budgeting skills.
• Events leadership experience and portfolio;
• Deep understanding of Digital and OOH placements, including Instagram, YouTube and TikTok;
• Experience on working with KZ bloggers and USC;
• Knowledge of Kz Media and Digital market and its trends;
• Networking base in Media and PR sphere in Kazakhstan market;
• Positive personal reputation on the market;
• Strong analytical and communication skills;
• Ability to work with strict guidelines and HQ restrictions;
• Ability to balance between priorities and burning deadlines of many teams at the same time;
• English at minimum Upper-Intermediate level;
• Excellent in Excel and PowerPoint;
• Experience with beauty and luxury brands will be a plus.
• Driven for result and proactive.
