We are looking for an Financial Manager/Business controller to support our Kazakhstan entity that would prepare the internal management forms of AL in Kazakhstan (including analysis, flash comments), ensure the implementation of the management model processes (including gas price calculation, investment process), coordinate and prepare the files on yearly Budget process and quarterly budgets rolling forecasts, prepare reports and details on financial reporting for shareholders.

Your main responsibilities as a Financial Manager would be:

  • Preparation and control of internal management reports (AL) quality and accuracy (IRIS reporting and other AL IT tools)
  • Monthly P&L comments preparation
  • Coordination and preparation of files on Target process and quarterly budget reforecasts
  • Variance analysis performance (Profitability by products and accounts, Analyze results & gaps vs LY and budgets)
  • Execute and monitor the monthly gas price calculation for LI clients
  • Tracking and reporting of investment decisions and Capex expenditures, ensuring timely financial commissioning of assets
  • Efficiencies validation and reporting
  • Prepare a business plan (budget) for 5 years and its consent with the 2nd shareholder. Update financial models for the existing projects. Daily communication with 2nd shareholder.

We would like you to have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a multi-national or in a large company (preferably BIG4)
  • Financial degree
  • Knowledge of financial modeling (IRR, NPV, ROI calculations) and variance analysis (FX, volume, price, mix)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google sheets (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS is a must). Ability to extract data from 1C and clearly understand the 1C architecture and reporting capabilities.
