Responsibilities:

  • search for the most feasible suppliers of manufacturing factories, conducting direct negotiations and establishing relations with them.
  • participate in the conclusion of agreements
  • organize regular meetings and negotiations with suppliers
  • prepare reports for the management on work with suppliers
  • develop, implement and execute the procurement category management strategy
  • build strong working relationships with internal Customers/departments and key strategic suppliers
    conduct regular market and supplier analysis
  • identify and utilize new opportunities to add value and save costs
  • check compliance of contracts with technical specifications (technical characteristics, quantities, cost, etc.), regulatory documents, and the statutory requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
    assess assigned projects to check the compliance with quality requirements, market situation and history of previous purchases
  • manage the fulfillment of contractual obligations by suppliers: in terms of quality, timing and quantities of delivered inventories; control over the timeliness of payments and preparation of required documentation
  • organizing interaction with other business units concerned on conclusion of strategic contracts and other issues related to fulfillment of contractual obligations
  • develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders
  • fulfill instructions of the line manager
  • comply with labor discipline requirements in the workplace
Requirements:
  • BSc/Ba in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
  • 3-5 years of proven experience
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Conditions:

  • employment in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • office location - 199/1 Suyunbaya Avenue.
  • annual paid leave of 24 calendar days
  • working hours from 9.00 to 18.00, lunch break from 13.00 to 14.00
