Hoteza is a hospitality IT company dedicated to providing a full-guest journey solution to the hotels and a seamless experience for the guests. We are trusted by hundreds of hotels around the world.

At the moment we are in search of a talented Android Developer - Hospitality TV / Digital Signage to join our crew for an exciting project. As the sole Android Developer on the project and within the Company, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of developing and maintaining applications for our cutting-edge hospitality TV systems. Company is based in Larnaca, Cyprus but we are in search for talents worldwide as it is possible to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sole Android Development Expertise:

As the exclusive Android Developer, you will be the driving force behind the development and maintenance of applications, holding a critical position within the team.

• Collaboration with Front-End Developers:

Work closely with our experienced team of hospitality software professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration and synergy across the development process.

• Self-Motivated Leadership:

Take the lead in Android development, demonstrating a self-motivated and proactive approach to deliver high-quality solutions within the hospitality TV system.

The project so far is:

• Create a robust Launcher and a set of apps for the hospitality TV and digital signage systems.
• Implement a Webview app within the launcher, utilizing JS API to communicate with Android TV and execute system events for launching 3rd party apps.
• Address Android security questions, ensuring the robustness and integrity of the hospitality TV system.

What we expect from you:

• 3+ years of experience in Android app development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript (JS) API for Android communication.
• Knowledge about building apps for Android and extending existing apps to also run on TV devices.
• Experience addressing Android security challenges
• Background in writing tests and willingness to do it

As a plus:

• Expertise in creating Android TV launchers and applications.
• Previous experience or an understanding of hospitality software development.
• Android EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) Experience
