Country Manager

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Country Manager in the heating/plumbing/sanitary industry with a strong market understanding of Kazakhstan market.

Work location: Almaty or Astana, Kazakhstan

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the market entry strategy, including market analysis, competitive assessment, and go-to-market planning.
• Develop annual budgets and financial plans for the country operation in alignment with corporate objective, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures to achieve profitability goals.
• Implement strategies to optimize financial performance and achieve P&L targets.
• Build and lead a high-performance team, including sales, marketing, operations, and support functions.
• Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding market share, and maximizing customer value.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers to drive business growth and brand awareness.
• Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, regulators, and local communities.
• Ensure operational excellence across all aspects of the business, including supply chain management, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks, and adjust strategy as needed.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to achieve business objectives and drive overall company success.

Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance, including key metrics, achievements, challenges, and action plans.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - Preferred with engineering or business administration or related field
• 3+ years of experience of company management in heating/plumbing/sanitary industry with a proven record
• Leadership and Strategic Planning
• Sales and Business Development
• Operations Management
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Financial knowledge is preferred
• Excellent Russian Language, English intermediate+ level. Kazakh language is preferred.
