An international FMCG company announces a vacancy for the position of Operations Manager in its plant in Shymkent city in a full-time job. Operations Manager required with the below specification, who has practical experience in operational management of production in plants. Working experience in food production will be an advantage. Responsibilities:

• Develop Supply Chain business plans based on current and perspective needs of the production (products of certain quality, quantity, range, and brands);
• Manage production operations of the Company by ensuring: the availability of necessary equipment and optimum stock of raw materials and spare parts, the appropriate level of technical readiness of the production and its continuous improvement, production efficiency increase, reduction of costs (materials, financial, labor), rational use of the production resources, product compliance with the current legal and Company standards in order to carry out the company’s sales, profitability and growth strategies;
• Ensure realization of production plan in accordance with annual BP;
• Ensure effective line performance by developing proactive maintenance plans and implementing innovative solutions to resolve chronic issues and improve KPIs;
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and CCI procedures, TCCC requirements;
• Achieve and increase the level of all SC KPIs such as of quality index, water and energy use ratios, etc;
• Manage the process of developing production plans and implementing shift schedules to prevent and eliminate violations in the production flow;
• Carry out organizations and processes (production, QA, warehouse, etc.) in order to provide on-time delivery of finished goods in accordance with quality standards;
• Support warehouse operations and increase daily shipments from the plant;
• Prepare annual budget according to production plans;
• Plan new investments (new machinery, equipment, and vehicles) that are required for the plant, exploring potential growth opportunities;
• Ensure the development of a safety culture in the plant by managing the relevant programs and projects implementation;
• Develop people by mentoring and coaching team members for their career management;
• Initiate and lead Operational Excellence and other projects aimed at improving SC performance as well as implementing best practices;

Requirements:

• University Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical / Electronics Engineering)
• Minimum total experience 8-10 years, minimum functional experience 6-8 years in managerial roles
• Proficiency in English at the Advanced level is essential (The direct supervisor manager is an English-speaking foreigner)
• Knowledge of the Kazakh language will be an advantage
