KIMEP Executive Education Center is looking for applicants for the following position:

Job Title: Professional Development Certificate Program (PDCP) Manager

Department: BCB

Section/Unit: EEC

Position reports to: Director of EEC

Job Purpose Summary:

Marketing, selling and organization of the PDCP seminars, maintain regular PDCP seminar program update to provide clientele with the relevant information, and manage projects with international and local organizations

Main duties and responsibilities (8-15 points):

Marketing and selling:

• PDCP seminars promotion and development (English, Kazakh and Russian)

• Selling of PDCP seminars to the relevant target groups

• Selling other Certificate programs such as CFA, ACCA etc.

• Administrative and logistic support of PDCP seminars

• Client administration, logistic support, registration maintenance and coordination

Administration:

• Update of the PDCP information: monthly seminar schedule, seminar outlines

• Develop newsletters to keep customers informed

Client database maintenance:

• Update clients’ contact addresses

• Maintain and monitor existing and newly attracted corporate client list to make it available to the requested bodies

Project Management:

• International Certification Programs

• Arranging visiting PDCP seminars in other countries

• New Project Development

Training logistics/administration:

• Technical/Logistics support to instructors delivering seminars outside Almaty: part-time instructor transportation to/from the airport arrangement, ticket, catering and hotel booking

Other tasks:

• Back up EEC Director and Deputy Director as needed and directed

Key deliverables

Arrangement, maintaining and bringing 10+ PDCP seminars per year (10+ students/per seminar)

Administrative and logistic support of PDCP seminars

Prepare plan for digital visibility of PDCP Program

Prepare plan for maintaining the students feedback

Pitching ad marketing PDCP programs.

Maintenance and development of Sales material for PDCP and other certificate programs.

To conduct club and alumni activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Master's degree and background in higher education;
  • Fluency in English, Kazakh and Russian;
  • Excellent communication skills (oral / written);
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as organization, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills are required;
  • Strong personal values including loyalty, integrity, honesty, and leadership for building a strong team in the Centre;
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
  • At least three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration;
  • Work experience in new product development, sales and/or marketing in business;
  • Good knowledge of academia.
