Operations Manager / Logistics

Main accountabilities, responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute purchasing strategies / Inventory strategies.

• Negotiating prices from ZF factories / local suppliers.

• Accountable and responsible for the availability of all goods sold via ZF related region.

  Responsible for all logistical inbound and outbound operations.

• Manage all latest customs regulations defined by local regulatory authorities for importation of products.

• Responsible for inventory levels at third-party logistics companies and monitoring their operational performance using defined KPI’s.

• Handling all quality assurance topics for the site (Annual Audit & Certifications).

Required skills and experience / main competencies

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with demonstrated experience in the field of Supply Chain Management.

- Fluency in English.

- Records of successful distribution and logistics management.

- Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

- Persuasive communicator with experience of operating at all level.

- Excellent level of computer literacy.

- Working experience in Navision / ERP.
