Chief Process Technologist / Главный технолог ОФ (Karaganda region)

YILDIRIM HOLDING KAZAKHSTAN is searching for a motivated Chief Process Technologist. Location: Karaganda region (in the village).

The ideal candidate is required to have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Mineral Processing Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years of mineral processing operation experience
• Knowledge in flotation, crushing, grinding, and dewatering processes
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Russian
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Understanding health and safety issues in a process environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience with process improvement methodologies is a plus
• Team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships with varying global cultures
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Able to work in shift (if necessary)
• Interaction with Foreign Managers with full reporting to the management of the HQ (Turkey).
• Willingness to relocate to Terekty village (Karaganda region)

The role will consist of:

• Reporting to the Process Manager
• Understanding health and safety issues in a process environment
• Monitoring KPI targets
• Monitoring and tracking unit operation cost
• Providing technical support to shift supervisors
• Preparing daily production reports by taking production data from the relevant departments
• Supporting metallurgy laboratory activities
• Identifying missing points at facility, providing optimization and improvement
• Preparing and following up monthly / annual budgets
• Following production parameters keeping and ensuring those parameters to be at desired level
• Preparing necessary procedures and providing training
• Providing tracking of consumed chemical and raw materials
• Tracking and managing contractors working in the field

CONDITIONS:
1. Official employment according to Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Working schedule: During the probation period: 5/2, working hours from 09:00 to 18:00. After probation period: shift method 15/15 (second part of each month), working hours from 09:00 to 21:00.
3.Location: Republic of Kazakhstan, Karaganda region, Karkaraly district, Terekty village.
