Education: Bachelor or Master Degree, preferred in Risk management, Audit, IT, Economics.

Professional experience: minimum 3-years work experience as an Operational Risk Manager or Internal Controller or Internal Auditor or Business Continuity Manager, preferred in Kazakhstan banking sector.

Language: spoken and written English and Russian, knowledge of Kazakh or Chinese will be considered as a plus.

Professional requirements:

· Deep, solid knowledge of local banking legislation especially rules and policies designed by National Bank of Kazakhstan and other regulatory bodies (188 Rules of National Bank, Law on banks and etc.)

· Developing operational risk policies and standards for risk management;

· Performing operational risk identification and assessment;

· Implementing strategic plan to prevent, eliminate and mitigate operational and IT risks;

· Developing key risk and control indicators;

· Tracking and monitoring operational risk issues for business units;

· Reporting operational risk issues and decisions to the Risk Management Committee, Management Board and Board of Directors of the Bank;

· Developing strong relationship with other departments by addressing issues/concerns in timely manner;

· Keeping abreast of latest operational risk management techniques and industry best practices;

· Demonstrated ability to develop institutional policies and establish procedures;

· Developing, coordinating, and participating in a multifaceted educational and training program that focuses on the elements of the compliance program, and seeks to ensure that all appropriate employees and management are knowledgeable of, and comply with, required standards;

· Strong knowledge and working experience with PC (computer) especially Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and etc.
