Responsibilities:

1. Deliver One truth actionable performance tracking on DX/Shopper insights which provides consistent and clear guide to Management on in-store performance overall and in key retailers and opportunities as well as provide direction for solutions development:

  • Deliver Situational assessments addressing Key DX Business Questions, strategic and tactical store shelf optimization questions;
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc (issue based) performance reviews of market position, category, competitors, channels and customers performance leveraging Nielsen KAI and retailers’ data available. Provide clear business implications and recommendations to address;
  • Flawless day-to-day data management for key data sources including Nielsen, In-store execution tracking, Shelf Price and Promo monitoring, Perfect Store and Image Recognition internal data + external sources available.

2. Lead understanding of shopper attitudes/behaviors and in-store conditions to identify growth opportunities for PepsiCo business:

  • Develop shopper understanding by category/channel through designing & executing specific shopper research projects in cooperation with agencies;
  • Lead on-going and ad-hoc shopper/ channel/ customer insights research projects;
  • Translate in-store shopper research findings into category / customer category development action plans;
  • Develop understanding of the different shopper purchase patterns & profiles in the key customers through transaction data analysis (EYC, etc), continuous Shopper data sources (HHP, etc) and specific researches (Loyalty Card programs);
  • Provide insights on improving main shelf visibility and display efficiency to boost category purchases;
  • Provide insights to fuel assortment and planograms optimization;
  • Support CatMan in Activation of Category visions and Strategic Selling stories, their customization for key Customers.

3. Inform strategy development / AOP / Account Planning and WCCE for Organized Trade with Data, Shopper/Category/ Customer opportunities & insights

  • Deliver Situational assessments addressing Key Business Questions on Organized Trade channels, ensure full integration of all available external in internal knowledge sources into one compelling story;
  • Develop understanding of Retail landscape, build granular shopper insights and analytics for key Customers through designing & executing specific shopper research projects in cooperation with agencies;
  • Develop customizable Shopper-centric selling stories and deliver “voice of Shopper” in strategic customer selling stories.

4. Drive return on Insights investment

  • Lead education of all functions on DX Insights tools and capabilities;
  • Proactively share and drive lift & shift of DX insights findings from other markets / categories;
  • Embed focusing efforts on value-adding activities versus data management in everything we do.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Insights / Analytics / Consumer/Shopper/ Category Management in a leading FMCG company and/or Retailer and/ or Research Agency;
  • Education: Bachelor+ degree in economics, sociology, math, marketing or management;
  • Knowledge and practical experience with a wide scope of research methodologies and techniques (retail audit data, qual&quant research methodologies etc);
  • Ability to frame problems smartly and understand the key decisions/people we must influence;
  • Ability to build deep trusting, collaborative relationships and create strong interdependencies;
  • Ability to manage agencies/people;
  • Proven ability to manage a matrix organization (cross-functional / cross-border), collaborating and influencing, actively seekng the input of others to gain broad alignment to ideas, communicating direction and influencing decision making to move teams towards a common goal;
  • Budget management background;
  • Fluent English;
  • MS Office – advanced user (PowerPoint, Excel);
  • Knowledge of statistics is a plus.
