The Product Manager (RRP) is entrusted with the responsibility of orchestrating the end-to-end process of new product development, from ideation to market launch. This dynamic role is essential for ensuring seamless coordination among cross-functional teams, optimizing resources, and driving efficiency throughout the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Taking charge of shaping the future, leading all New Product Development (NPD) projects and initiatives related to product and/or packaging within PLM system
- Сoordinate projects in collaboration with stakeholders across all sourcing locations, ensuring smooth communication and effective teamwork
- Lead the preparation of Business Approval Papers (BAP) and Memos, working closely with stakeholders to initiate projects effectively
- Take charge of demand planning and prepare Resource Supply Forecast (RSF) in collaboration with relevant departments, ensuring readiness and efficiency
- Manage the entire New Product Development process, ensuring timely execution of all projects from conception to market launch
- Track project timelines against plans, promptly addressing any delays or issues and ensuring key stakeholders are informed
- Handle PLM-related queries and provide support to assigned markets, ensuring smooth operations and resolving issues efficiently
- Organize and lead project kick-off meetings, setting clear objectives and expectations as the Project Manager
- Track information on lead-times for different project steps, coordinate approvals within AMS (artwork), SKU readiness, toolling availability, NTMs (non tobacco materials) delivery and other project related questions
- Prepare presentations and minutes for NPD meetings and ensure updates to NPD related data - Product Specifications file, Bar-codes, Blends and NTMs cost, etc.
- Manage project budgets, minimize write-offs, and seek opportunities to optimize product costs and rationalize expenses
- Contribute to competitors' price and activations reporting, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with global functions, agencies, and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment
- Proactively engage with other functions within the market to drive the brand agenda forward, ensuring strategic alignment and collective success.
Requirements:
- You have a University Degree (preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product development or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully managing NPD projects from concept to launch
- Advanced English level
- Kazakh language is a big plus
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and software tools is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to track project timelines, monitor progress, and identify and address issues proactively. Proficiency in analyzing data and making data-driven decisions
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements with resilience and composure
